    Anyone have other than Dealer sold 30k major service kits put on their 355's? I ask because the dealer wants $2600 for the kit and I found a kit on Ricambi America for $1400. They say all the parts are certified by Ferrari North America and are the same as the dealers.

    There is no kit offered by Ferrari. You are getting what someone has put together and different people have a different interpretation of that. I have used Ricambis and all parts are OE unless you want Paul Hill tensioner bearings (which are very good). Ask each what specifically is included and make sure you are comparing apples to apples.


    Personally I would get it from Ricambi and decide whether you want Hill bearings or will pay an extra several hundred for OE.

    Must be nice to do it so cheap there... I pay 6K for that change. Dan at Ricambi has my order in 2 months for that.

    Thats what they told me that the bearings were hall and that they were actually better. Are the hall pulley bearings/races better than OE? If not, then is it worth paying the extra few hundred ?

    Go with the ricambi recommended bearing. Hill Engineering makes superb parts, and Ricambi will not steer you wrong! As Brian said above, the Hill bearings are very good.
