328 / 308 Alternator removal

After ready many posts it seems that btemplin had to remove the large pully & maybe even the AC mounting bracket to get the alt. out of this hole on a 328 vs. the 308. I'm at this point......

Anyone else on a 328 have to pull this pully?

Anyone replacing their alternator find it's pretty oiling in there? My arms & the alt look black at this point. The car has 46K miles & I know that the cam seal leaks a bit but on the other side of the engine.

Hopefully I now get the proper 13.5+V (was getting 12.3 max & then down to 11.4 after a week of driving 30 min/ day). Hopefully my starting issue is a lazy starter solinoid that w/ a fully charged battery every day give me no more trouble.
