How do you remove the top part of the A/C vents on the top of the dash? My leather dash has pulled away from the vents and I want to tighten it up.
    Thanks, Gary

It depends on the car. Many have vinyl, but a leather dash was available as an option from the factory.

My car has the leather dash, I believe Bullfighter's has a leather dash, and there are a few other Fchatters with leather dashes. Vinyl is definitely more durable and probably avoids/reduces the possibility of shrinking and splitting dashes. The option is mentioned in Blumeils Book on V8 Ferraris (I think on page 46).

    Best regards,
    Dino

    Hi Maurice,

The vinyl is easier to take care of and you will also have fewer worries about shrinking or cracking. Still there is plenty of leather on the interiors of 308/328s and none of the sticky plastic issues that seem to plague later cars like the 348s, 355s etc.

    Best regards,
    Dino
