In case anyone missed it, the owners site is now offering luggage sets for 328 GTB and GTS, and 512TR, this is new a new offering this month. The 328 set is available in tan only, is four pieces and will set you back 3,600 euros. The 512TR set is five pieces, available in black or tan and costing 4,700 euros.

Thanks. Gotta say it - but other than as an art speculation, this is the biggest waste of money I have ever seen. Personal opinion of course but then all art is personal.

Personally, for the money i'd rather have Louis Vuitton. Those who are strict concourse may (perhaps) get added brownie points for having the luggage.

I have to agree with both of you guys- not very useful. That must be why everytime you see someone selling a set on FML the luggage is always noted as brand new, still in cloth shipping bags.

I have had luggage for my 328, TR, 348 and now my BB512i. The advantage is they fit perfect in the car and they hold much more than other luggage that doesn't utilize all the nooks and crannies like the Scudonia luggage does. But, I would buy it used as you can get an almost new set still in the cloth bags for a grand or so for most modesl.

Hi. Would you care to tell me a little more about this luggage for your BBi ? Ive seen a BB for sale and was thinking about it, but I was under the impression the Boxers had no luggage space really!

    Thanks.

Yes - we need the authentic Schedoni luggage to make up for our Magnaflow mufflers when we scare everyone on the lawn at Pebble Beach... :)

Maverix, the luggage for a Boxer is two piece set with one long case that fits the entire width of rear shelf behind the seats and a round/oblong folding suit bag that fits over the spare tire cover in the front bonnet.

Anyone have the 308GTB set, I'd be in the market, but will let Mr. Parker negotiate as my agent! :)

It keeps your stuff from falling into the trunk wells at either side, where we keep the fire extinguishers and the spare Royal Purple!!!

The 328/308 set is FOUR pieces, such a deal!

    Frank,

If you ever part with the Boxer, I would be very interested in purchasing the luggage if it were to be sold separately. In the alternative, do you have any leads on where or from whom it could be acquired?

    Thanks,
    Joel DeLuca

As I have posted before, I located luggage for several of my Ferraris over the years by posting a "Luggage Wanted" ad in the Ferrari Market Letter. I always received numerous responses to my ads and went with the best deal.

When I acquired my '87 TR last year, it came with a six-piece set of luggage. I was apprehensive that the luggage would be in poor taste, stamped all over with Ferrari badges, but it turned out to be beautifully designed. The Ferrari reference is a faint 'Testarossa', blind-embossed into the -very thick- tan leather.

Sure enough, each piece of luggage came with its own set of jewel-like locks and keys, and dust bags, red with the prancing horse logo. The interiors are all finely lined, leather straps galore and fine brass fittings. Almost a leather fetishist's dream, I suppose.

I agree with Norm that the luggage is too fine and expensive to use as regular luggage, that is to say I would not entrust it to an airline's hold. On the other hand, it has been designed to fit the car perfectly. The two largest pieces lie flat one on top of the other in the forward bay, with two smaller cases fitting over each of the wheel arches. The two remaining bags, one like a large briefcase, slot in behind the seats. There are cream leather straps (the colour of the seats) affixed to the back shelf of the car which pass through these cases's straps and are velcro fastened back on themselves. I presume this it so anchor the cases, although with the seats in place there's nowhere for the cases to fly around in an emerency stop. At any rate, it looks good when you take a look through the rear window.

I do not know the function of the second in-car case, but from its long, rectangular aspect, maybe it could carry a tennis racket -or a hunting gun if I were to go on a shoot with m'lord ?

The luggage is rugged and, on longer trips, I have stuffed every case way past its planned load. It takes the load and it regains its shape when emptied. Recommended.
