I love the feel of the stock steering wheel, but it's starting to look a little ratty. I saw some great looking Nardi wheels this past weekend, and of course there are Momo wheels.

Has anyone replaced theirs, and if so which model did you use? Pics?

    Thanks

You can replace OEM thru FerrariUK, also you can have yours redone by specialists.......or were you looking for a different "look"??

I have some MOMO catalogs but they are a couple of years old....

Go with the Four Spoke Nardi wood rim favoured by Peter Collins.....;)

I've got a cool looking Momo Apache in my '78 308. Red and black, fat form fitting rim feels good in the hand, bolts on same way as orig. Matches my mostly red with black trim Corbeau racing seats. I can email pics to anyone interested. Type Momo Apache steering wheel in Google to see pics. Looks like about $230 to $270 price range.

I put a Momo Mod 78 on my 308 QV. Same shape as original, but with suede covering, and smaller diameter grip. Very comfortable. I paid $100 used, new is about $200. Bolts right on with existing allen screws.

The Tubi is hung up in customs right now.....

Did you read the thread about how I lost the keys to the shift gate lock? Boy do I suck. Car has been stuck in the garage since Thursday.

Nice work on the 328 - I just always thought the 328's A/C's sucked! Nice to see you tackle that one yourself. Would have been nice to know when I owned it.

I still mean to take some caliper shots for you.

FChatter Rennmaus has put one on her 328. If I can find a pic I'll post it for you.

Ha! I found some from Rennmaus' car. One pic is with fill-in flash.

The good news is, that you can easily go back with an aftermarket wheel, which is what Rennmaus does when she takes the car to a concours.

Jerry, Sorry about the keys. That really sounds like something I would do. One Christmas my wife bought me one of those key clappers. So when you lose them you clap and a beeper goes off. I love the shift knob, steering wheel and those mats. One of these days I'm going to get down to Crystal Cove. Looks fun.

I seriously want to cry Brent. I didn't even have a chance to put them on a key chain, I lost them so fast.

That would be great if you made it down to CC! Would love to see the car again after your mods.

They came with the car - I have no idea where he got them. Maybe original??

Still haven't found my key. :-(

Wow, the new steering wheel looks great. How long did the install take?

Not sure who you are referring to, but mine took about 10 minutes to install.

As long as you don't have any trouble getting the bolts off, it's pretty easy. The factory uses some sort of lock tite on them.

And be sure to have the exact metric ellen wrench. I used close enough American and ruined the screws in my steering wheel. I will never change that now...
