    Hello,
I checked the owners manual to see the proper name of this orange plug under the front bonnet, it said "Battery Switch".
My question is. I unplugged this orange "switch" whenever I'm going to leave the doors open for extended periods of time, (cleanig interior, etc). Recently, I removed the obsolete radar detector, the SS1000, from the vehicle. A few times I needed to plug in the orange switch to confirm power to the radar, etc.
Each time I did this I heard a "click" from the rear of the vehicle, seems like it was coming from the right rear. Everything is OK, just want to learn what this sound I was hearing and if its ok to remove and replace the orange switch as often as I was doing.

    Thanks for you help. John.
