    My 328 idle increases speed when stepping on the brake pedal,, that can't be how these cars function, is it??
    I mean the increase is slight a couple/few hundred rpms but it is noticable.
    Is that the way they are, or is it some kind of vacuum leak or something?

    Most car's rpms increase slightly when you press the brake pedal.
