I tend to agree with modifying cars. If you do modify it, try to do thinks that can be removed and returned to stock. Drilling holes in the body will be costly to fix. Wheels, brakes, and exhaust are probably OK.

geez as if i don't have enough to worry about what with the broken tank connection and all, now i have
to worry about another monster i've created. the buttress wing.
wow, it's almost like the belts vs. chains controversy or worse yet, the great oil brew-ha-ha.
if i had bullfighter's vast, astronomical knowledge of the 328, i'd never think out loud again....

    happy motoring.

Anyone can drive a stock car, Bill. It takes imagination and strength of character to make it your own :)

The rear wing appeared on a VERY early 308 show car study..........my 1977 car got one from the dealer as it finally sold in 1980.

So as noted, the design goes back to early 308GTB studies by Pininfarina.

The Studio Aerodinamica wound up in the Factory back lot two years later. I wish they would have called me. I would have taken it off their hands.

No Dr. Barry, that one appears to be an aluminum fabrication??

Mines's black plastic with some spiderweb cracking starting to present itself....I think I ruined to whole paint job, leaving it out in the field with the Longhorns and the donkey for three years.....

Kind of my own special version of the 'forgotten GTO in a field"...........LOL!

Off to the paint shop, after brakes and clutch!!!!!

    Bill,

NAPA is all we have out in Waller Texas...they provide my never ending stream of batteries, and we wave at the guys at Foyt Enterprises as we pick up a snack at the Jack in The Box.......
