I am restoring my '87 328 back to it's original glory and am geting real close. I have even replaced the o-rings on the red door lights! Does anyone know where to get a remote control for a dealer installed Clifford SE 3000 alarm? The previous owner claims the system worked when before he lost the remote. I have tried all of the obvious...Clifford, DEI but have only sent e-mails and gotten nowhere. Thanks in advance.

A remote for an obsolete alarm?
Sounds like a case for ebay!
Use the notification feature (i.e. save a "favorite search") and they'll tell you when it comes up with a hit, say on the model number. I'd expect you'd have to buy the whole alarm, but if you're replacing o-rings on lights, I can tell you have no semblance of common sense left... ;)

They also have a "wanted" mode that I've never looked at, but it couldn't hurt to look into it... ????
