The amount of pedal throw needed to completely disengage the clutch is huge. The pedal is starting about 4 inches above the level of the brake pedal all the way to the floor. I recently had the engine out for a rebuild and rebuilt the clutch housing as well. The clutch disc was the same that came out of the car before the rebuild, but I measured it before I put it back in and it was near new, close to 9mm. I've read and followed all the adjustments in manual and ferrari chat and am getting no where. Could I have possible put on the throwout fork that moves the bearing on the shaft backwards? Maybe the throwout bearing hub is mis-aligned? Does anyone have some good pics of the inside of a cluth housing?

It's like I need to figure out how to get more pull on the shaft that moves the throwout bearing with less pedal travel.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Is the clutch effort less than before?
If so see if the clutch cable and clutch actuator tie rod are reversed in which holes they attach to part #57 the clutch control lever IF reversed would get about 4 times the clutch pedal travel at 1/4th the effort.

The clutch cable is going into the bottom hole of # 57 and the tie rod into the middle hole.

Check to see if there is free swing of the clutch control shaft and lever 33 if the clutch control lever 23 was backwards you might have it away from the throwout bearing having to turn a bit before starting to move the bearing and pressure plate.

If not might try reversing the cable to middle and the tie rod to the bottom if it looks like it fits-- as that would give about 4 times the pedal travel over having the cable in the middle--my Mondial has Hydraulic clutch so cannot look to see which way it goes.
