    Resurrecting an older thread…
My 1985 308 QV is going to be needing the tires replaced. To my knowledge Goodyear and Pirelli supplied the tires for this year. My question: Would judges take off if you had another brand on your car? My car just won Platino at the recent FCA Concours in Monterey. Unfortunately, I did not ask the judges about what would happen if I did not have those two brands on my car. I currently have Goodyear Eagles. I am planning on buying: GOODYEAR EAGLE SPORT ALL-SEASON (V-SPEED RATED) at Tire Rack since they are Goodyears and have a more period correct tread pattern than some of the other tires available.

No, you will not be deducted for a different brand of tire.

However, the tires must be the original size, aspect ratio, etc. of the original tires. And, the spare must either match the new tires in brand or be the original tire. (Hard to do with the space saver spare in the 328, I know...) Otherwise you will suffer a deduction.

The tire must also conform in appearance to what would have been on the car originally. This is obviously at the judge's discretion, but the intent of this rule is so that people don't put something like a whitewall tire on a 308, which obviously does not confirm to the originally delivered appearance of the car.

I forgot about the spare. Thanks for the reminder...and the clarification.

Those max points tables are interesting.

Would "modifying" US-spec bumpers on a 308 by pushing them inward or by modifying their mounts be therefore a 1 point deduction?

Yes. A US-spec car must have correct US bumpers, installed as they would have been from the factory.
