    Any of you guys come across this one, when I try to lock the doors with the key it will lock but when I remove the key it unlocks? Any suggestions would be appreciated, Thanks..

    Normally it will do that if your other door is not fully closed properly, first thing to check.
    Have you tried locking the car from the other door? Does it do the same? Just asking as need more details to diagnose correctly

    On my BMW it did this and it was a faulty actuator.
    On my 1986 328 I noticed you can’t lock the driver door if the passenger door was not shut property. I then need to sit the passenger door with more force.
    Could be that something is not aligning right.

    Look behind the door panel for a bent rod to the door pin; I had to rebuild the whole mechanism but now it works
