328 Engine zippered compartment

I had mine replaced at a shoe repair place for around $30

 

I brought mine to an auto top shop and had a new one sewn in for $22. Never had a problem after the new zipper was installed.

I replaced mine with a zipper from the local fabric store for 79 cents. It's an easy job.

 

Do a search. You'll find a couple threads detailing how with the help of a zipper kit.

 

Simple enough to remove and take to a shop for a new zipper. For authenticity, don't use the first thing you can find, try and find a zipper that matches as closely to the original as possible.

BTW, whatever you do, don't tell them it is out of a Ferrari. Tell them it is from a Fiat something or another....make up some strange model. (save yourself the "ferrari tax")
