I am so in love with car.......I keep telling myself I don't need this.......I don't have space.......I can use the cash for something else...... And yet I can't talk myself out of not considering purchasing this. 1986 Euro Prugna over grey. I just love the look and color. Recent engine out and ready to enjoy. Asking is $79k but could probably get it for low $70ks Am I crazy? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
"Am I crazy?" If you like it, buy it; color is totally an individual preference. Obviously the usual due diligence applies re price/condition/mileage, etc.
"The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it. Resist it, and your soul grows sick with longing for the things it has forbidden to itself, with desire for what its monstrous laws have made monstrous and unlawful.” Oscar Wilde, "The Picture of Dorian Gray"
I personally like the non-red cars. There's a prugna Mondial convertible that makes it to events around here, it stands out for sure. Just make sure you like it, because it will be a tough sell later. Too many folks HAVE to get the rosso.
The video was also posted by F-Chatter "Rosey" (= Mark) a few days ago in the thread: "What to look for when buying a 308/328 - Buyer's guide" thread. Has to be the same car: wire mesh inside the lateral scoops, so German origin (only the German cars had these); "Prugna" cars are very rare, and Prugna cars with Gray leather numbers probably less than five, perhaps less than three, for the whole production... Rgds
May be less Bruno Indeed Prugna is rare AND Gray interior is not common. I never heard about another Prugna / Grigio until today
Avoid the regrets and kicking yourself in the behind in the future by not buying this car and buy it now.
