That is my Idea: I think it was DOT approved just in Italy.

Well, I think that the best would be to ask the Portuguese owners...
This by going in the specific chapter for "Portugal", in the section "by countries" on this forum: going to the "Europe" chapter, then "Portugal", and open a thread here asking if anyone new for certain.
We could also ask the Greek owners too: I'm pretty sure the 2 litres 208GT4 was indeed imported in Greece, but I don't have any confirmation for the "Turbos", even if some persons say these were also imported in Greece.

last weekend I visited ing. Nicola Materazzi, the 288 GTO and F40 project leader and turbocharger specialist at Ferrari factory in the eighties. What I didn't know is that he did the "328 turbo engine" too: what an important father that engine had! Now I finally realize why that engine is so fast and powerful!

Materazzi is very nice man and a gifted engineer.

It was a very nice experience and I learned A LOT of things that I never heard before about the Ferrari turbocharged cars of the eigties, about Enzo Ferrari and Ferrari factory.

It was a very pleasant and very useful visit for my book and a very interesting lesson for a car enthusiat too.

In Portugal Mr. Joaquim Calém from Viauto Ferrari importer established in 1987 , sold 25 GTB/S Turbos in two years (88/89), it was the first cars sold here by Viauto.

I dont have the invoices, but i have many warranty book pictures with Viauto Stamp.

In the past Guerin sold only one 208 Gts Turbo chassis #45429.

I have one question to Albert-Lp:

How many (328) GTB and GTS Turbos was made?
