328 "frames" around ac, fan, cig lighter, ect.

Dials (knobs) are held on my a small set screw.

 

Please tell me where you got those!!!
I've been looking for them for a while now.

You don't have to remove the console. There's a small set screw that holds the knobs on. Removing them allows access to a nut that you need to undo. The frames will then lift off. IIR.

the set screws that hold the knobs to their shafts require a 1.5mm allen key. i hope you don't
end up hating yourself for removing them.
there is insufficient shaft engagement inside the knob and the set screw barely catches the top
of the shaft, setting up a potential deformation of the shaft head and inability to turn the shaft
without the knob screwing off. after that, you can't turn the blowers off without a hemostat or
pair of pliers. good luck and pay attention!
