    My 1988.5 Euro 328 GTS has a damaged front bumper due to very little impact but damage is still severe and replacing the bumper is preferred although price will be 2 to 4K.
    Problem is that the Euro cars had 3 different partnumber surely because of (minor) differences, see the Tavola 102 picture and below table. My car is #77623 so needs #61976600 that is nowhere available.

    Question: does anybody know the differences between the 3, hence #61741700, 61947100 and 61976600. This way I can judge if just a small modification is needed to make it fit and be fully to original specs for my car?

    @Alfer As Euro 328 your car can't be a 1988.5 ;)

    Really? :confused:

    I thought the "88.5" cars were the cars with the front suspension "upgrade" (necessitating the convex wheels), with the option of ABS (still not standard in all European markets). My understanding was that European markets got the "88.5" cars first, and then the US got them a few months later.

    Happy to be corrected and educated on this :)

    You are both right. Since there really was never such a thing as an 88.5 car, it was a made up term to describe the cars built after 76620 when the wheel and suspension change happened.

    But then what do we call all the cars built after 76620 that still had the old wheels and suspension? There were many.

    The change happened world wide at the same time but as so often happens with Ferrari another few cases of the old parts were found and quite a few cars were made with them and are scattered around the world.

    I believe that it is also common to call them typo 1 and typo 2. The later are the cars with adjusted suspension and ABS(optional). Of coure we all know about few other small details.
    Nerofer, you must be right but my car is produced in May 1988, hence 1988.5:D
    Still it seems that not much is known about the Euro front bumper differences:(

    I just nitpick because we don't use year model in Europe to determine cars and nobody claim he owns an 87 or 89 Ferrari 328. And yes we call first serie or second serie with Concave or convexe rims.
    And European 328 with convexe rim can be with OR without ABS even in 1989
