Am doing my calipers...anyone know where it is best to jack the car to raise the front end?
use the side jack point forward of the rear tire. The entire side of the car comes up. if you mean where to place jack stands, search and you'll find stuff like: http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=147256&highlight=328+jack+stands if you want both the fronts off the ground, but rear still planted, jack up the side and place a front stand. when you lower the side, the other front will come up. Then jack the other side to place the other front stand.
here's the way I prefer to get both front wheels up in the air at the same time: * drive the car up onto two 2x8(or 2x10 or 2x12) boards positioned in front of each front wheel, staggered lengths so it's easy to drive up onto them(go slowly!). * position a 2x8 board, 24-30 inches long, under the front axle(right underneath the battery tray). * position jack in middle, under the board, and jack the car up to desired height. Having the board crosswise under the front distributes the weight so that you don't bend anything as you might if you just jacked up the middle of the front end. The area underneath the battery tray is not stout enough to support the entire front end if using a small jacking area.
