    I am getting gasoline odor coming from my 328 gts while it is sitting in the garage I suspect the tanks are pressurizing. Is it the evap system and how to repair the problem
    I tried to do a search but got no information

    Are you sure its not a weeping fuel line. I recently had the hose from the left fuel tank to fuel pump start failing. It wouldn't leave a fuel puddle, but it was slowly seeping out of a few pin sized holes. I could smell it getting into/out of the car. Might be worth checking. Cheers. BB

    The only time my 308/328 had ever smelled of fuel while parked inside a garage (and I have not done anything to the engine), it was one of 2 things

    1) the fuel filler tube was very old and cracked, or
    2) the two fuel hoses connecting the two gas tank at the bottom of the car were old and weeping

    I believe the fuel tanks are building up pressure when I open the fuel tank lid you can hear the pressure release
    Is there anything on the evap system I can replace to remedy this problem

    Are you saying that after a drive, you can open the tank, vent the system, close it back up, and in a few hours there is pressure again in the tank?

    I smelled the gas odor 2 days ago however the car has not been driven for a week. I opened the fill cap and heard the pressure
