I have a friend looking to purchase a complete front clip for a 1987 Ferrari 328 GTB. From the windshield forward. Exterior and Interior. Anybody know of anything?

I saw one on E-Bay last year in England for about 9.000 euros, brand new, if my memory serves me well.
Have you already tried Superformance, Maranello parts, etc...in the U.K, or the usual favourites sellers in the U.S?

P.S: when you say, exterior and interior, what do you exactly mean?
The front clip is usually two fenders and the two metal bands between them.
But "interior"? Do you mean also the chassis, suspensions, etc?

As for the front clip proper, Eurospares has it brand new, and immediately available.
    Part n° 61751200, price is £ 5.950.50, excluding taxes.

nerofer- Thanks for all the helpful info. I will look into your leads. What I mean by interior and exterior is just that, everything. This car was in an accident that caused the car to catch fire. Luckily, everything behind the compartment area and fenders is still flawlessly beautiful. But yes, Suspension, and even chassis section is needed. Thanks again for the help.

    Louie,

I think you should look at the parts scheme of the 328 parts catalogue on the Eurospares site, and see what's available at what is not. If my memory serves me well, generally speaking you should not have too many problems for availability, except for the fog lights, which are No Longer Available and very difficult to come by.

As for the chassis, well, that's another story. With the exception of the small front pyramid of tubes in the extreme nose, the 328 chassis is one full structure from front to back, in one single piece. So there is simply no such thing as a "front section of the chassis"; either you change the whole chassis, or find a very competent welder able to replace the tubes that need to be replaced.
I seem to recall that Superformance has the different tubes in different section available, but what you really need here is a very competent welder...

As an example, here are the links for the eurospares catalogue and SOME of the parts you should need (not ALL the parts..):

    http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partTable.asp?M=1&Mo=694&A=2&B=41299&S=

    http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partTable.asp?M=1&Mo=694&A=2&B=41302&S=

    http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partTable.asp?M=1&Mo=694&A=2&B=41301&S=

    http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partTable.asp?M=1&Mo=694&A=2&B=41306&S=

You MUST take the utmost care in ensuring the market model of you car; is it an european 328? or a japanese market 328? is it RHD? or LHD?
The best precaution is to give the chassis number, and the full VIN, of the car to anybody you are ordering from, so that they would be able to check compatibility of parts.

I found one up in NJ, about a year ago, $6500.00USD was the 'ask', it too was new old stock.

Ferrparts can find one, may even be cutting up a car, also TRutlands.

A new one will be hard, but not impossible to find.

Supports and interior brackets will not be included.....
