    Hi all

We're after the flat aluminium style prancing horse that attaches to the front grill of a 328 GTS. Ours has had it's tail broken off, and we're told by the local Ferrari dealer and the parts place in the UK (from the owners site) that it's a discontinued part and that we'll have to find a second hand one. Does anybody have any ideas or leads? We currently looking on ebay, plus thru google, but there's all sorts of parts site, and living on the other side of the world (New Zealand) doesn't help! :) Can supply a photo if that helps.

    Cheers,

    Adrienne Mora

I assume you want the horse that is in my avatar. I do see them a lot on Ebay, and I think that would be your best choice. You could also go to some US dealer websites and email their parts man to see what he could do. And, as you already know, ask what the shipping would be.

Best of luck. Not too rare an item, so you should find one soon.

I also had this same problem! I have heard that the little horsie tails often got caught on a towel while washing or drying the car -- ouch!
I looked all over and could not find the FLAT cavallino. I was told that it was discontinued and replaced by the rounded version seen fairly frequently on eBay and via different ferrari dealers/ parts vendors.
I eventually bought a used FLAT original in great shape via the FOD parts manager calling around to the nation's dealers, and did pay big bucks for the little guy.
