I was looking into purchasing a 328 GTS and have been reading this forum.

I noticed alot of people do there on service.

Is there any type of service that would require you to take the car to the dealership.

For example: does any thing have to be done on the 328 that would require the engine to be pulled?

I live in Wilmington, NC and Im not for sure if we have a good(if any) Ferrari mechanic in town.

I currently own a Porsche Boxster, but I feel like Im ready to finally make the dream come true and buy a Ferrari.

    Thanks
    Brian

Hi Brian, It's Brian. The 328 only requires the motor pulled out for major engine or transmission repairs. In terms of routine servicing anybody with good automotive mechanical skills and a good understanding of the theory of Otto cycle engines can do it. The 328 is a great car, good luck.
