Hi everyone. Can anyone tell me if the 328 and 348 heads are interchangable? If it’s a dumb question I apologize. I am quite familiar with the 348 head but have no knowledge of the 328. I have a line on 328 heads and I am looking for the options I might have for using them.

    thanks in advance.

The 308QV/328/348 heads are basically the identical "architecture". Any of the heads will bolt on any of the blocks and all the intake/exhaust parts will bolt on.
The real differences are in the ports, valves, and other details. If you look at he ports, the 308QV and 328 have smaller port "holes" but the castings are the same and the can be opened up to 348 sizes. Another big difference is the spark plug hole. The 308/328 have a 14mm plug and the 348 has 12mm plugs. This gives more material between the plug and valve seats. Less prone to cracking. Also, the 348 has larger valve seats, so you can go with bigger overall valves in the 348 head.
All the external parts will swap. Valve covers, cams, seal retainer rings, etc.
