My passenger side heater does not respond to the controls and is stuck full on (LEDs are all on).

Any thoughts as to where to start looking please?

The contacts in the switch I would think. There are threads around here showing how to dis- assemble it I think.

This happens occasionally to me in my car. When it happens to me,I hold my finger on the the switch in the heat position then quickly go to cold then heat until it responds.Ive opened the switch and sprayed contact cleaner but its not the contacts its the actual switch itself.

So, I finally got around to looking at this :)

I pulled the switch out of the car, and sure enough one of the micro-switches is stuck permanently open circuit.

I've hunted the 'net for a replacement micro-switch based on the numbers on said unit (B8700 8623) and what appears to be a manufacturer (C-H).. no luck so far.

Has anyone ever sourced one from anywhere, or identified a replacement please?

C-H may be Cutler Hammer, they're a huge manufacturer of industrial switchgear. I'd try them and see if they recognize the part number.

Post some pictures of the micro switch and I might be able to help.
