328 Hose mystery

    Hello

    Is there supposed to be a hose going from the tank filler neck down to the accumulator?

    At the moment I have a bigger and a smaller vent hose from the filler neck and an empty connection on the accumulator.

    It's a Ferrari 328 Euro spec.

    Yep...there’s a fuel return line running from the fuel accumulator to the gas tank.

    The larger hose from the left fuel tank connects to the right fuel tank...it’s the breather pipe to let air escape from the tank during refueling:

    Seems like they had different configurations depending on emission standards in different countries.

    Island Guy is correct. Not all of the cars had the accumulator connected, some just let the fuel run on the ground. It makes a mess but diagnosis can be much faster that way.
