I'd have to ask the service advisor to be sure, but I'm guessing the hot temperatures were bothering the alarm's "brain" and causing it to engage the ignition-cutoff relay even when it was "officially" disarmed. The alarm was an old unit that occasionally would arm itself (!) so I'm probably better off without it.

Sorry for digging up such an ancient thread, but I trying to determine for certain the correct part number for an Ace solenoid for a 1981 mondial. In all my searching of F-Chat, I have been able to dig up two Bosch part numbers for 308 GT4 solenoids: 0-331-302-082 and 0-331-302-070, in addition to the one listed in this thread for the 328. Does anyone know which one of these is correct for the mondial?

Also, how do I find the equivilant Ace part number, and most importantly, where is the best place to buy it from? Thanks a ton!

    Nathan
