I need a set of ht leads for the front bank to replace a burnt out lead. I can order from Euorspares but they want left or right. I think the front bank is the left but can anybody confirm? This is forr a euro lhd 328 gts.

Sorry to intrude again and again raise questions instead of proposing answers...
Wouldn't it make sens to change both sets, just to avoid having difference of conductibility, etc, between a brand new set, and another one about 28 years old?
(and to answer, yes, I believe - but I am not sure - that the front one is indeed "left".)

That's my understanding as well Front bank = Left bank (makes no sense to me!)

The part number for that lead set is 118826, the other side is 118827

In reality I would expect they are now probably the same if all you want is the ignition leads.

When I bought mine a couple of years back the new lead sets did however come with coil leads in the pack (of different lengths) so there should be no need to buy those separately (even though they are listed as separate part numbers) but I would check with the retailer on that.

Tell them, front bank, 5-8 cylinders.
    Bank 2, 5-8 cylinders.
Left bank if you look from behind the transmission toward the engine (like a 348), Cyl 5-8.

Never heard of it being referred to as ... left bank before.

Both banks were changed 12 months ago so i imagine the back bank should still be ok.
Thanks for info about left bank.

This has always confused me - but if you look at all the model year part diagrams the Right cylinder head is the Rear - so just match the R's
