On occasion when I shut the 328 off and pull out the key, my ABS light will stay on. Putting my hand under the dash I found the problem could be recreated by moving the wires on the ignition switch. Checked the connectors and all was fine, but found that moving the blades on the ignition switch was where the problem was. Pulled the steering and lock assembly out and removed the electrical side of the lock. An ohm meter confirmed the problem. Question, has anyone located a source for this ignition switch? The part was made by SWF out of Germany with a number on the part as 800.040. My source comes up negative. I found an old post talking about a possible Bosch number of 0343213001 but the Bosch web site says the number is no good. In January someone was selling what he claimed to be old ignition switches with that number that came from a 69 Alfa. His pictures were good, looks the same except missing a blade, but that could be it that it had a single # 15 compared to our Double #15. Trouble is that when I look up the Alfa and find a picture it's different. Any ideas, short of buying a whole new assembly for $1800? Anyone taken one apart and fixed it? Don"t want to try that unless I run out of options or have a spare.

The Ferrari p/n for the Bosch and SWF numbers you referenced is 70000707 and retail price is ~$350.

Thanks Brian, I'll do some searching around using that number.
