The 328 early models, the 1985 production, already had the 328 plastic usual key or did they still have the Neiman ignition key? Thank you very much! ciao Alberto
Alberto My understanding is the plastic folding key was standard throughout the production run. Bruno will be able to confirm. Regards
When I bought the car it came with 3 of the Black Plastic Folding Keys. Do all the 328's have the same?
This short thread will be of assistance. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/308-328-sponsored-yellow-compass-group/526211-original-328-keys.html?highlight=328+keys
Well, sorry for the late answer, didn't see the thread yesterday as I was busy exchanging textos with...Alberto himself, about a piece of Schedoni luggage I have just found. I do think that the first cars came indeed with the folding key, yes. And Elentinos here has the very first production GTB (assy #1) and it has one, so... (an earlier developement 328 GTB, chassis # 56211, was - and maybe still is - in Paris; it was configured originally as a US car, with "long lip" and rear bumper with the slot for hot air extraction, but has an euro engine; I have not managed yet to see it "in the flesh") Rgds
I did not know 308 QV's came with folding ferrari embossed keys, late 84 onwards probably. I have a few original folding key blanks if anyone wants. Pm me. Cheers Johnny
Could be that some QV owners liked the folding type key and got them cut, those keys blades the same type for 308/328.
