328 missing still

my 328 is still missing and as i havn't had much time to sort it, i thought i would make a determined effort this week...so i managed to get some new injectors very cheap all in the makers box...put them in...took me a couple of hours....recharged the system by removing the plug on the side of the fuel distributor and switching on the ign... the fuel pump pressured up ok, and the car started fine......problem still there, so its not the injectors. .....removed the supply pipes on the rear four injectors and installed the old ones....got four jam jars...ign on, push the plunger and the same amount of fuel in each jar...did the same for the front ones....all good so not a fuel delvery problem... got out my old timing strobe and checkrd i was getting a pulse on each HT lead above the extender....all ok... so now its looking like a compresion problem....going to check the plugs and extenders tomorrow and then do a compression test.......i got this aweful feeling!

 

should be able to tackle this.....just gonna test the plug extenders later and then the plugs.....had the plugs out when i started to fault find and they all looked fine...light brown colour no damage. just got to go through this one stage at a time and be patient making sure the test is complete before moving on to the next...dead easy to miss things if it is rushed.
