Can I confirm that Bosch #13957 is a good part number for an oxygen sensor for a 1986 U.S.-spec 328 GTS? If not, what is? And can anyone recommend a reputable source at a reasonable price?

I think it probably would. The TR also uses the 121515 F PN O2 sensor, and I have the following equivalence from when I replaced mine:

    F PN =121515
    Bosch 10-digit PN = 0 258 003 009
    Bosch USA # = 13009

Yet at www.discountoxygensensors.com they show both the 328 and TR as now using Bosch USA# 13957. Don't know the difference between 13009 and 13957, but I'd bet it's just something like the overall cable length. Also, if you search on 13009 or 13957 at www.importeccatalog.com it brings up the same Bosch O2 sensor (C5010-35496 in their PN system) so either are probably OK for your 328.

Do you have the 10-digit Bosch PN from the case of the actual unit that you are replacing?
