    Can someone who might have a 328 parts manual send me the part number for the heat insulation cover that goes on the rear deck lid above the engine? Mine apparently is missing and I am not sure the exact name of the part or the part number to inquire about regarding a replacement. Thanks!

    Are you referring to the Water Shield Panel? It's P/N 60735800.

    Not sure what the part is called so that may be it. I don't have a diagram showing it and the the only reference I have was that it was called the insulator that mounts under the decklid. I will check on this part to see if that is the correct one. Thanks for your help.

    not sure what year your 328 is, however not all of them had the (rear bonnet insulation, if that's what you're referring to)..my '86 doesn't.
    can someone chime in and provide the year that Ferrari started putting it on the 328's?

    Rob - Thanks for the parts diagram! I believe it is part number 54. The cross member piece which looks like part of the deck lid cover is all there but nothing like any insulator piece is attached to the top of it. My car is a early 86 so not sure if it should be there or not. I only ask because I got points deducted at a Concurs event for it missing. Thanks again.

    I also have an early '86 (November '85 actually) and it does not have part #54, or the parts beneath it for that matter.

    I have an '88 with a build date of Feb. 1988 and it has that insulation panel but I've been told that no such panel exists for earlier cars .. even some 88's with an earlier build date.

    Robert I too have that same diagram from my spare parts catalogue (SPC) it shows years 1986 to 1988 (I think) Maybe 1989?...anyway since it covers multiple years do we know when Ferrari started the install of this insulation?

    Also if you look the fron bonnet shows insulation too..my '86 doesn' have either
