Has anyone replaced the light source in the 328 Rear Heated Window Switch ( Part 126821)?
I removed the switch from the console but did not see any obvious way to take the switch apart. Any Comments?

Sorry Paul, not from me: euro 328s do not have defroster: they rely on That big source of heat Just behind and below the rear window, which works very well. Is That defroster really useful?

Since I live in Florida, I have no need for the defroster. I just want the switch to light up like the others at night.

The defrost switch should be just like the others in the console (except the antenna switch). here are pictures of my old fog light switch disassembled (replaced when I first got the car). This particular switch turned out to be melted inside (for whatever reason). Still, you can see the side-tabs you need to flex out of the way on the second picture.

    Hope this helps

Nope, sorry. You could put in an led I suppose, but you'll probably want to do all the switches so they look consistent.
