    This morning I took the 328 out for a ride just to have it run a bit and then out to a short section of main road where I could redline in it the first two gears.

    It ran great but that's not the point...

    The funny part was when I was driving through a local neighborhood - a couple of young kids were riding their bicycles with, I assumed, their dad. As I drove by, one of the kids yelled, "DAD, IT"S A FERRARI!!!" I waved/they waved back. I was surprised that these young kids - I'm guessing 10-12 years old - recognized a 3x8 as being a Ferrari and, for that matter, that they even knew "Ferrari" at all.

    Maybe the world isn't totally going to Hell. ;)

    I got flagged down in the Countach the other day by a Mom whose 3 boys love Lamborghinis and she asked if I would follow her to the house to show her boys (was in my neighborhood community, not just some random place). I followed her and the boys would have been 8-12 age group - they were excited to see it.

    Well you are lucky, I was at a stoplight years ago and the guy driving the pickup next to me looks down and asks "Is that a Ferrari?" Yup, it is. He nodded and left . Do you know how much easier it is to say yes, it's a Ferrari than it is to go through and explain what a SAAB Sonett II V4 is?? Do you ?? To his credit it was red... ;-)
