Hi All, Unless I am google retarded - I am finding no other option for brake rotors other than Brembo... Not that they are not wonderful it just seems on rotors there are always alternatives... To the point - today I called the Stillen company that is where I got my 348 rotors couple years back- I asked them about 328 rotors & they said no demand is why they never tooled/offered them... Seems to me with no other options & 20+ year old 328's they could fill a gap in the market. The guy spoke to his Brake maker & they said they could make them & price around $300 set + or - and we could have a choice of cross drilled or cross cut if we wanted.. Basically Stillen needs to know if there is a demand for them if so they would make'm... I asked how many orders = a demand they said around 5. Hope this isnt taken as a pitch for a company, I am just one 328 owner that is dumbfounded that there are no other choices but $250+ or - each Brembo rotors.... Hope this doesnt violate a TOS just looking for rotors at a decent price... Chris
that's $75 each for a set of 4 with cooling channels? i wonder how they will perform over the long haul?
We are currently making 2-piece front rotors for the 328 and Mondial right this very moment.... Should have some soon. Fronts only however. Will have big brake kits to follow after that. We have measured every version of Mondial and 328, early, late, abs, non-abs. What a lot of work! But now we know what will fit what. Sorry I don't have more info but expect pricing and performance to be the same as our other Ferrari offerings. Martin
i vote you wait for Girodisc rotors. Excellent build quality, they are a proper floating design and are lighter due to aluminum hat. Ran the sh*t out of them at the track on the 308 and they have excellent wear properties and nicely vented to keep too. Get slotted.
