I need to replace or have rebuilt the shock absorbers on my 86' 328 GTS car. Has anybody out there recently gone through the process? I've located a company in N. Cal. called Performance Shock that rebuilds them. Are they good? Any other ideas for new or replacement shocks? I'm going to do the repair or replacement work myself. Any tricks or suggestions in doing that? Thanks.

Thought I read somewhere that rebuilt shocks aren't worth the money. Check out Ricambi, Italian Car Parts or Lyle Tanner or one of the other sources and just order a new set.

I have a stock set from an 88.5 model that's just gathering dust in my basement. They have about 22k on them and don't have any issues. Pm me if you need them.

I've just replaced the shocks and springs of my GT4 with new units from QA-1 and I can highly recommend it! Not sure how the 328 is, as I have never driven one yet, but the stiffer (adjustable) QA-1's totally transformed my car! Finally, I can get better curve speeds than my 330 bimmer... :)
