My passenger side mirror flew out of the assembly while driving down the highway and I could not find it on the side of the road. Does anyone know where to find just the replacement mirror itself or how to get one made?

If it is just the glass that is missing draw a tracing and bring it to any glass shop.

Yes it is only the glass, but how does it get attached back into the housing?

It snaps into place via pieces glued to the back of the glass. If those are missing you have a problem.

Don't be surprised if you can't find what you need as it's incredibly rare to find anyone selling just the glass and the attachment fixtures on their own for a Ferrari.

For decades now, Ferrari have not made the door mirror glass and it's associated fixtures available separately, you've always had to buy an entire mirror assembly if your glass broke or fell out.

If the glass gets damaged but doesn't actually fall out then a replacement glass can be made and put on the car.

If the glass and the attachment fixtures fall out though then it's a much bigger problem.

You would think that Ferrari would have used the mirror glass and attachment fixtures from everyday FIAT models for their own cars, but it seems, based on My admittedly limited investigations, that they were made especially for Ferrari and were not made to be spare parts.
