    Where can I get replacement red spark plug boots for
    my 328? Also, can the red sheathing be had/replaced as well?

    I have an Electromotive XDi system with black MSD wires.

    I believe it's been mentioned that Kingsborne makes or sells sheathing, wire and extenders. May want to do a search as there have been many threads in the topic. The red boots may be more difficult.

    Any thoughts on the red sheathing? The silicon stuff- not braided.

    The 328 I have in the shop now with XDi has red taylor wires. The boots probably came off of the old wires. I may have an old wire set laying around.

    A new set of wires is not that much money, totally worth it to just get them. I ordered new wires and extenders from Kingsborne, and they were perfect. The car ran and idled much better too.

    Watch out for racing wires if you have any kind of sound equipment ... there is a reason Ferrari used spiral core wire (and you don't have to buy the OEM stuff, Taylor makes a spiral core wire as well that works perfectly)

    Worse than that. Microplex ignition is very sensitive to EMI from the wrong plug wires.
