What is the best way to reach and change the 4 plugs located close to the back wall of the cockpit. Seems like very little room. Any techniques that make it easier would be helpful. Plan to change the plug myself tomorrow for the first time since buying the car 6mths ago. Thanks

Use the plug wrench supplied with your tool kit. I had the same fear when I changed the plugs for the first time last year on my 87 328. Using the tool, it took only 10 minutes to remove and install new plugs. Tough part is reinstalling the spark plug boots. Suggest you practice on the rear bank first. I installed NGK Iridium IX plugs P/N DR8EIX. About $8 a copy but IMO, well worth it. Good luck.
