I have read the thread on how to do the bulb change and it says that the bulbs are behind the panel. I would have thought the bulbs would have been pushed in from behind the speedo's back side where all the wires are to light up the speedo face. Can anyone tell me where the bulbs are photos if possible would be great.

The bulbs ARE fitted behind each instrument (two in each). What are you not picturing?

BTW, try bypassing the reostat first, quick and easy job, and is at least as effective as the bulb swap. Doing both is even better, but I have done a few cars now, and notice that the tach always ends up dimmer than the speedo. From what I can figure, the bulb specs are not equally brighter than than the stock ones....I would guess that one is 50% brighter, while the other is only 25% brighter....go figure, but the speedo and tach take different types of bulbs...

Ahh, but I find the dimmer / rheostat on the 328 to be useful, and I think I could get enough brightness with the better bulbs. On the 308, I bypassed the rheostat and did the bulb upgrade, and then it was acceptable...
