Heard a vibration noise on my '89 328 and traced it to the spoiler, which is attached to the rear hatchlid with one bolt at each end. One of the bolts is not tight.

Access to these bolts is through a recess under the hatchlid; I think I will need to get a socket wrench to get in there to tighten the little fellow.

Anyone happen to know what size that bolt is, so I know what size of socket wrench to seek out?

Thanks for any words of illumination, O Great Ferrari Gurus! :)

If my memory serves me correct they are secured on with four 10mm nyloc nuts.

    TIP:
Stuff some paper towel or a rag with a string attached for later removal into the opening around the spoiler nuts before removing them. They'ss come off & slip down inside the boot lid & you'll end up removing it & shaking it around to fish them out (been there...).

Uh, Mr. Cruise, would you ask one of those Martians if he could stop by my garage for a few minutes? :D

Thanks, O Worthy and Revered Masters, for bestowing this wisdom upon your humble student. :)

Got to the rear bolts with a 10mm wrench fine. :)

Maybe I'm missing something here, but how in the world are you supposed to get to the front bolts? (Other than with Martian fingers, I mean.)

When I installed mine, the hatchlid had to be removed. We tried every possible trick to avoid hte removal but... no way.
    Have fun...
