I'm looking for a stock 328 muffler (U.S., ca. 1988), in good condition. Can anyone suggest where to look for one? Thanks. BTW, I've got a nearly-new Larini muffler and test pipe to sell, in case anyone's interested.

Check eBay I see them there all the time. Or T Rutlands.

I have one. I just had a Larini installed on mine but have not picked up the car yet.

Why are you going back to stock?

I had a Larini and hyper cat, and the resonnace was bad, and the sound deeper but not particularly appealing. Not practical for daily driving. It was a work of art however and was much, much lighter than stock. So I went back to stock. You really need to drive a car with the aftermarket exhaust to see if its what you expect.

By the way, don't get rid of a stock cat, they are getting hard to find and are worth big $$$ for those who want originality, as many will as these cars move into the classic zone.

Thanks, I'll try T Rutlands. Ebay seems lately to be showing just one muffler at $750, but I'll keep checking. Why I'm switching out the Larini -- I don't like the sound (too much booming, it doesn't sound like a Ferrari anymore, at least not to me). Very subjective -- what sounds good to one person doesn't to another...
