Most likely, the stiffness of the flexible element (if all of the functional outer dimensions are the same). Your photo shows there are some physical dimensional differences between the flexible portions of each, but, depending on the flexible material itself, these could still be functionally equivalent too (i.e., the functional stiffness of the flexible portion is dependent on both dimensions and material properties). Do you have F PNs for each? 328 use different ones for front vs rear (even though the functional outer dimensions are the same).

The "left" one is for the rear and its PN is 103170.

I lost the invoice for the "right" one, but per Maranello Classic Parts its PN is 104398 and both are superseded by 154537.

That's odd. Ricambi America shows a different succession and that the front and rear are still different:

    Front 104398 to 111617 to 154537

    Rear 103170 to 111616 to 154536

Both? That doesn't sound right looking at your pics. They seem to be physically different enough to be a problem once installed.

I plan to go with the one on the left as I have a set for the front and back. The issue is how to tack weld them in place. Any suggestion as I don't have any welding equipment.

BTW, they fit the suspension fork nice and snug.

Go to an experienced welder and have him put in two spot welds. You don’t need much to keep them from rotating.
