    Does the 328 run the tachometer on 4 0r 8 cylinders?

    The tach output I believe uses a position sensor to the ecu which then sends output to the tach.

    I thought so, but with an XDi system, one of the toggles has to be set to either 4 or 8 cyl. setting on the Control pack.

    What's your thoughts?

    Actually, NO-

    According to the Tech at Electromotive...the setting is 4 on the 328.

    But thanks for all the input gents.
