I just got the 328 Tool Kit from Ferrari of UK (Great folks there!). It looks like I am missing a wrench since there is a spot in the roll for one more. Looking at prior threads and pictures of tools, I only count 8 in those also - Can someone verify for me that this set is complete? Thanks!

I found some more old threads & they all appear to have 8 - Strange!

Anyway - Thanks to Ferrari of UK - They look great! :)

Just checked the parts book and it shows two empty spaces (picture below) also checked other tool rolls and they are the same, some have one empty slot and some have two.

The reason is that Ferrari had the same tool roll made so that it could be used to cover several models and for some reason that I can't explain different cars had a different selection of tools inserted into the roll.

That's the two things the later cars don't have/need.

I have a window crank tool, and the double ended carb thingie.

That would fill the two slots.

    Carb spanner?!?!

Is this a 'bent' wrench to remove the damn near impossible carb mounting nuts? 13mm. If not, what does it do?

It is purported to "adjust" the idle mixture screws. Problem because of its shape, it can access only half of the 8 screws, the other half have to be adjusted with regular flat screw drivers.

So, basically, it is there just for looks. The automotive equivalent of Calista Flockhart on the arm of Harrison Ford.

    Thanks Malcolm,

I guess I'll just have to be patient and wait for a complete kit to materialise on eBay or somewhere else!

    Thanks for your help, MARK
