I have a 328 gts from -87 and it´s a euro version. I would like to have some more Ferrari sound, so i planned on building a new exhaust system. I allredy have stainless steel headers. Have some one built your own system. They cost a lot if i must buy one. I have found short mufflers that i can put direct on the headers. But do i get the right sound?
Have any one tuned up there engines on a 328? Like new cams and ported cylinder heads and so on? My goal is about 320 hp, 100 hp per litre. Can i do that without getting a big hole in my bank account?
I read about bore the trottle body to 70 mm and new air filter. But after that!
How much horse power do you have in your cars?
I dont want to have turbo charging on the engine.....for the moment anyway.

    More soud= more fun:)

    Stefan,
There are a dozen or more threads on performance mods/tuning,
everything from K&E filters to porting to supercharging.
Your 320 hp goal is at, or maybe slightly past the limit that can be achieved w/o going to forced induction(super or turbocharging).

As to mufflers, again search the archives, A couple of people have adapted Flow-Master dual pipe mufflers to 3x8s. Some good photos & comments on how they sound.

Then there are those who have made up an exhaust system out of 'cherry bomb's ie: glass packs, or gutted catalytic converters.

    Have at it.

    There is no Euro spec.

It could be a Swiss car (Euro but same as US) or a uk car, or an italian car or a german, french, spanish or portugese car.....they're all different!

UK has the best engine and least "crap" hanging off it, but they're RH drive.
