Following up on an earlier thread, How does the underhood (front) carpeting attach? And has it been fitted by the factory from 88 1/2 or just on 89 models? I am considering installing said carpet on my 88 1/2 328GTS. Thanks.
Under the front, there are small black Phillips head srews. under the engine lid, there are black plastic snaps.
the under hood carpet (front bonnet), attaches with a large sheet of double sided adhesive. I bought the carpet and adhesive sheet from my dealer for my 328 but never installed it. It is in new condition, if anyone is interested make me an offer. Mark
