    Vacuum (3/16) line from intake plenum (driver's side) has a "tee" fitting about 14" from plenum that is uncapped. Maybe somebody added for guage diagnostic? And forgot to cap?

    Very possible -- and that is the vacuum line going to the MicroPlex ignition ECU (so a 'leak" there is a bad thing).
