How much more expensive is it to maintain and get parts for a 328 compared to a 348? I'm assuming a complete 30k on a 328 at a Ferrari Dealer would be around $4000-4800 and the 348 would be $5500 - 6000. I know the engine comes out of the 348 for this and would increase the cost. Sound accurate for those who own or know? Also are parts and clutch jobs (I heard electrics in the 348's) that much more in the 348?

If you feel like you have to go to a dealer, your pricing will be higher. I know of local Dallas shops that will do a 30k for anywhere between $2k-$5k. The higher prices tend to be at the dealerships. I can't help you on the 348, but I also know it's an engine-out proposition.

Figures could be different depending on the area, but have right idea in your figures. You can get good work from independent shops who does Ferrari for lower cost. Since both models are out of warranty, you can go that way, too. For more info., you can check your Regional Area threads.

For more details, you may find useful information by "searching". I was told the parts cost are not significantly different, but labor time could be for general repairs between 324 & 348.

Hope you'll find the right F car!!

What non-Dealership places would you recommend in Dallas for a 30K service for $2K-$5K?
