328 VS. 944 TURBO DICE N IT IN THE CANYONS

had a really nice top off drive in the 328 this afternoon,,,i started off making my way through the canyon by the sea ., near my house..right after the fast S turn that crests the hill,,,i came up on a 944 turbo,,,seeing that i wanted to get an unobstructed run through the last set of bends that bring you to the bottom of the canyon..i set up for a pass on the 944,,,when he all of a sudden goosed the throttle,,that was ok,,,i managed to slingshot around,,and make haste for the fast left hander leading on to a straight..being that my top was off,,,i was extra careful,,the 328 looses handling with the the top off,..anyways,,i noticed in my rear view mirror .,.that this guy was giving chase,,..i was able to late brake into a tight right hander,,getting a nice 4 wheel controlable slide all the way through the bend...with a good drive for the next set of corners,,,the 944 tried to keep up,,,but was dusted off ..far behind me,,,through the last set of corners., leading to the ocean...i waited for him to catch up,,,he was cool,,we talked for a bit,,,i mentioned how fond i was of the 944 s,,,and away we went...no RED ALERTS from the Valentine one,,,coast was clear...i finished the drive with a nice cruise down to Hunt Beach,,mostly a nice freeway drive,,,with a couple of fast sweepers on two freeway interchange ramps..happy sunday gentlemen,,,Brett..

 

i can absolutely tell the difference in the 328 s handling with the targa top in and with it out,,,and as far as ripping through the canyons,,,my posts are absolutley the truth.,,im not sure why my posts bother some of you boys,..,.if you have nothing good to say,,,you should keep quiet,,,you drive your machines the way you want,,,and ill drive mine the way i want...my experience is on twisty canyon and mountain roads...not on a track,...if any of you boys want to take a drive...anywhere in So Cal..,..ill show you how to drive a Ferrari proper....and Sean.. i appreciate the offer for the San Diego deal...but auto crossing in a parking lot isnt something im interested in.(not that its bad at all )..i have little experience...except for doing one in the 80 s in my RX7.....and Mr, Marranello born ...whatever...i never said anything about four wheel sliding being good when racing,,,i do it because it feels good and its fun,,,,it obvious that your a little girl,( you live in New York,,,what ..do you get., 2 weeks a year to drive your car..no wonder why you have have a stick up your ass !!!),when it comes to driving your car,,dont be JEALOUS that there are guys out there that can sling their Ferrairs around corners,,,the way you wish you had the balls to do,....anyways...for the guys on here that dont dislike me .for my posts...and by the way...my motorcycle forums are filled with guys that are so different then most of you fellows...we talk all the time about our antics on our streetbikes,,,without any disdain for anyone..ill be posting up another in car camera video,..of an early morning sick four wheel sliding drive..through the canyon to the sea by my house,,,you all have a nice day....Brett [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0c7QtwTRDps&feature=channel_video_title[/ame] couple of slow speed screwing around vid[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJhGeoHO4Gk[/ame]...PS...i didnt change to 17 inch 348 wheels,,,with PZEROS and 5/8 billet spacers on all four legs because i liked the look..[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoGWHKJEuaw[/ame] Ray ., Louie .,and Brett...Busa Boys So Cal...shifting through 4 gears on one wheel....!!![ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p3PqVH3XY1M[/ame]

 

oh,i guess your talking about the write up in the LONG BEACH PRESS TELEGRAM...about corvette owner CORY FISCHER..who was driving his ZR1..along shoreline drive in long beach...when he tried to show off and pass me at over 100...he lost the ass end and couldnt save it...he and his car...slid across the freeway,and hit both a utility box..and a light post....he lost both his feet ,after his car exploded into flames.. just like in a hollywood movie...OCT 1999,..you should do something constructive...and look it up,,instead of running your little girl mouth.,...thats the kind of corvette driver your talking about right ????
